How Premier Manager works Premier Manager is an online manager game where you manage a team based on real Premier League performances. You have a fictitious budget, select players from all teams and earn points when your players perform in real life. The game is divided into rounds and is updated live after each match. The goal is to increase the value of your squad – and to finish higher than your competitors. Live updated fantasy game based on the Premier League Rounds follow the real season Player performance converts to points and growth Play against friends, colleagues or the whole country Value-driven competition Your goal in Premier Manager is to create the most valuable team. Players’ performance in real matches determines whether their value rises or falls. Your decisions should therefore not only be based on popularity, but on data, form and match schedule. Team building and budget You start with a budget of 50 million fictitious dollars. With this, you need to buy 11 players divided into goalkeeper, defense, midfield and attack. The players have different prices depending on quality and expected playing time. This gives you both freedom and limitations in building your dream team. Maximum of four players from one club Choose between different formations The value of the team is constantly changing Balancing star players with budget-friendly alternatives requires strategic savvy. Use your knowledge and intuition – and be ready to adapt every week. Player growth and Points Premier Manager uses a detailed points system that awards up and down points depending on the player’s performance: Goals and assists drive positive growth Yellow and red cards and own goals lead to negative growth Clean sheets, shots on goal, saves and games won also count In addition, bonuses are awarded for crucial goals, away wins and for being on the pitch when scoring. Every detail counts – and you need to pay attention to the whole picture. Captain and Bonus You choose one player as captain. Any increase in the captain’s value during the round is added as a bonus directly to your bank. This bonus is not visible on the player, but appears in your “Captain Bonus” field. This makes your choice of captain a crucial factor in your progress. Transfers and Fees You are free to replace players between rounds, but each trade costs 1% of the purchase price in fees. This means that your transfers should not only be right from a sporting point of view, but also financially. However, all trades in Round 1 are fee-free. This gives you the opportunity to test strategies and adapt before the competition really gets going. Quotes from the Fantasy League Podcast

“You have to constantly balance between targeting the low-cost, high-growth players while holding on to the ones that deliver consistently week after week.”

“It’s not always the top scorer that provides the most value – some of the biggest wins are in the mid-range.”

“An away win or clean sheet against the top team can be the difference between mid-table and top spot.”

Game structure and rounds Premier Manager – Spring starts after the winter break and typically lasts around 18 rounds. Each round begins when player trading opens and ends when the last match of the round is played. This provides an ongoing dynamic where you have to decide each week: Injuries and suspensions Form and match schedule Rotation and starting lineups Postponed or rescheduled matches can change the dynamic. Teams with two matches in a round have double the potential – and you need to be ready to act quickly. Basic, Gold and Gold+ teams There are three ways to play Premier Manager: Base team: Free, but with only three contracts and no prize participation Gold team: Unlimited contracts and better features – but no prizes Gold+: Full access to competitions and prize pools To enter the competition for prizes and Cups, you need to create or upgrade to Gold+ before Round 1 starts. Mini Leagues and Social Competition The fun really starts when you compete against friends, colleagues or family. Premier Manager allows you to create mini-leagues where you compete internally and get weekly bragging rights. The social element is one of the greatest strengths of the manager game – and there’s always something at stake. Strategic Tips from the Experts 1. Plan ahead Analyze the match schedule, find the rounds where teams have two matches and plan your purchases accordingly. Most experienced managers look 3-5 rounds ahead. 2. Save on your contracts (if you play with base teams) With only three contracts in the entire game, it’s important to use them right. Save them for important rounds and don’t use them on marginal players. 3. Keep an eye on injuries and suspensions Information about claims and quarantines is shown with icons for Gold and Gold+ users. It can be a great advantage to know the risk before you act. 4. Drive with flexible formation A flexible formation makes it easier to adapt to the form players of the week. You can always change the formation, but only if you have sold enough players from that chain. Who will win the game? The team with the highest value at the end of the game wins. Simple? Yes, it is. Easy? Well, no. There are thousands of participants – and many put hours of analysis and planning into each round. Get started with Premier Manager today Premier Manager is both fun and demanding.
